Join us for... Parent Cafe: Empathy & Validation

Save the date for our next Virtual Parent Cafe on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM!

Communication is key in your relationship with your children. Through communicating we learn who they are, who they aspire to be, how they are perceiving their world, and how they are finding their way through it.

During this session, we will learn what it means to be empathetic and validating communicators. We will also learn how these elements foster communication with your child in order to build a closer and stronger connection.

For this session, we will be joined by Registered Psychologist and Mental Health Therapist, Michelle Fuentes. She is a local therapist, with the majority of her career spent working with children, youth, and families. We look forward to having her share her expertise on this topic, and hope to see you there!
